Topsail barely beat South Central the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Pirates blew past the Falcons 3-0 on Wednesday.

Topsail is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-5 record this season. As for South Central, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-9.

Topsail and South Central should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps North Carolina Rankings. The Pirates will face off against West Brunswick at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday with a big rank advantage (40 vs. 404). Meanwhile, South Central (ranked 77th) will meet Jacksonville (ranked 238th) at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
