Basketball Recap: Gainesville Takes a Loss

Gainesville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat. They took a 68-55 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Celina Bobcats. Even if the Leopards couldn't come away with the victory, the high-scoring effort was a great turnaround for their offense, which had struggled int the games prior.

Gainesville's record now sits at 8-22. As for Celina, the win got them back to even at 14-14.

Gainesville does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Celina, they will take on Ranchview at 6:45 p.m. on Monday. Ranchview will roll in looking for their tenth straight victory, something Celina surely won't give up without a fight.
