Volleyball Recap: Sterling Takes Down Centauri in a Playoff Battle

With a playoff win on the line, Sterling rose to the challenge on Friday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Centauri Falcons. The Tigers haven't had any issues with the Falcons recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

Karsyn Tonche paced Sterling's offense, picking up 13 kills. Tonche got some help from Berkley Gardiner and her 27 assists. Finally, Tonche was also a dominant defender, finishing with a team-high five blocks.

Sterling's victory bumped their record up to 21-7. As for Centauri, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 17-10.

Sterling wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 3-2 win against Forge Christian on the 14th. Centauri does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
