Harlan has gone a perfect 5-0 against Sotomayor recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Harlan Hawks will look to defend their home pitch against the Sotomayor WILDCATS at 10:00 a.m. Harlan is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last six games.

Harlan is returning to their home pitch after beating Warren on theirs, despite the fact Warren has dominated at home this season. Harlan sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 victory over Warren on Friday.

Josh Olivares and Alijah Boyle scored all three of Harlan's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 17 goals.

Meanwhile, Sotomayor didn't have quite enough to beat Warren on Wednesday and fell 2-1. While losing is never fun, the WILDCATS can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 600th, while the Warriors are ranked 126th).

Harlan's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 13-5-2. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored nine goals over those three games. As for Sotomayor, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-12-1.

Harlan took their victory against Sotomayor when the teams last played back in February by a conclusive 3-0. Does Harlan have another victory up their sleeve, or will Sotomayor turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
