Minnesota player Sam DuBois is in the right place at the right time and connects.

See the Minnesota kid come up huge and mimic an NBA legend.

Chaska (Minn.) thought it was going to knock off enough of the clock to force overtime in a Minnesota Class 4A quarterfinal when a player batted a rebound away from the hoop.

Turns out that Chaska player was just setting the stage for Champlin Park (Minn.) player Sam DuBois to register a United States Coast Guard Top Play.

DuBois was hardly in a great position to make a memory when the ball made its way to him. He was running away from the bucket, toward the scorer's table, when he caught the ball and turned with a one-handed heave.

It was a prayer – and it was answered, moving the Rebels along in the Minnesota playoffs.
