Football Recap: McComb Tigers vs. Provine Rams
McComb never let their opponents score on Thursday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Provine Rams 49-0. The score at the end of the third wound up being the final score as the Tigers just coasted through the last quarter.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead McComb to victory, but perhaps none more so than Broderick Peters, who picked up 87 receiving yards and a pair of TDs. Another rusher making a difference was Sammy Badon, who rushed for 67 yards and one score.
Wins are hard to come by when you can't run the rock, something McComb proved: they limited Provine to a paltry -1 yards per carry. The Tigers didn't have any issues in that department, having averaged 10.2.
