Preview: Warren East vs. Franklin-Simpson
On Friday Franklin-Simpson will take on Warren East at 7:00 PM. Each of these teams will be battling to keep a win streak alive as Franklin-Simpson skips in on five wins and Warren East on three.
Last Friday, Franklin-Simpson put the finishing touches on their 6th blowout victory of the season. They took the game and then some with a 62-20 victory over Warren Central. The matchup was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 55-7.
Meanwhile, after constant struggles on the road, Warren East have finally found some success away from home. They narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past Allen County-Scottsville 23-20. The tight race was right in line with the MaxPreps state rankings' forecast.
Everything went Franklin-Simpson's way against Warren East the last time the two teams met as they made off with a 42-14 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Franklin-Simpson since the team won't have home-field advantage. Watch the game and check back on MaxPreps to see if the change in venue makes a difference.
