Basketball Recap: Mechanicsville Takes a Loss

Mechanicsville lost against Patrick Henry back in February of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Mechanicsville Mustangs took a 65-57 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Patrick Henry Patriots. The Mustangs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Mechanicsville's loss dropped their record down to 5-3. As for Patrick Henry, they moved to 3-6 with that victory, which also ended their four-game losing streak.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Mechanicsville will venture away from home to take on Spotsylvania at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Mechanicsville is facing Spotsylvania at the right time seeing as Spotsylvania is stuck on a ten-game losing streak. As for Patrick Henry, they will head out on the road to square off against Armstrong at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Patrick Henry will also cruise into their next contest with the timing on their side: Armstrong will have lost four straight heading into Tuesday's matchup.
