Basketball Recap: Wilder Comes Up Short

Wilder was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were beaten by the Notus Pirates 59-22. The Wildcats were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 31-11.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Notus to victory, but perhaps none more so than Caleb Cudaback, who went 5-for-10 en route to 14 points and seven rebounds. Cudaback is also on a roll when it comes to field goal percentage, as he's posted one of at least 50% in the last three games he's played. Dehaven Wilson was another key player, putting up eight points along with seven boards and four steals.

Wilder now has a losing record of 10-11. As for Notus, their win ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 14-9.

As of now, neither Wilder nor Notus have any future games scheduled.
