Basketball Game Preview: Bishop Lynch Friars vs. Carter Cowboys + How To Watch

The Bishop Lynch Friars just played yesterday, but they'll still head out to face the Carter Cowboys at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday.

Bishop Lynch is headed into the contest having just suffered their closest defeat since January 24th on Friday. They fell just short of Crandall by a score of 56-54. The Friars were up 54-13 in the first quarter but couldn't hold on to the lead.

Meanwhile, Carter made easy work of South Oak Cliff on Tuesday and carried off a 69-49 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Cowboys.

This is the second loss in a row for Bishop Lynch and nudges their season record down to 1-2. As for Carter, their win bumped their record up to 2-0.

Bishop Lynch didn't have too much breathing room in their matchup against Carter in their previous meeting back in November of 2024, but they still walked away with a 56-50 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Friars since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
