Soccer Game Preview: Tri-State Christian vs. Faith Christian

Tri-State Christian hasn't had much luck against Faith Christian recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Huskies will welcome the Falcons at 4:30 p.m. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Faith Christian will be up against a hot Tri-State Christian team: the squad just extended their winning streak to seven. The Huskies blew past Quad Cities Christian 5-1 last Thursday. It was an even better day for Ella Hilborn as she scored three goals for her team.

Meanwhile, Unity Christian kept up with Faith Christian until halftime on Thursday, but afterwards: not so much. The Falcons were the clear victors by a 4-1 margin over the Knights. The win continues a trend for Faith Christian in their matchups with Unity Christian: they've now won six in a row.

Tri-State Christian pushed their record up to 7-0 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road. The road wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 13 goals over those four matches. As for Faith Christian, their victory bumped their record up to 11-4-1.

Tri-State Christian suffered a grim 5-1 defeat to Faith Christian in their previous meeting back in April of 2024. That contest was all but decided by halftime, at which point the Huskies were down 4-0.
