Softball Recap: Chicopee Comp Comes Up Short

Chicopee Comp was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They came up short against the Drury Blue Devils, falling 17-5. The Colts were not able to make up for their loss to the Blue Devils from their previous meeting back in April of 2025.

Alexis Wojcik made the most of her time in the batter's box despite the final result and went a perfect 3-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one double. That double marked the first that she has hit this season. Aleysha Ramos was another key player, going 2-for-3 with two stolen bases and two runs.

Chicopee Comp's defeat dropped their record down to 3-5. As for Drury, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-3.

Coming up, Chicopee Comp will look to defend their home field on Tuesday against Granby at 4:00 p.m. As for Drury, they are taking a road trip to face off against Pittsfield at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
