Volleyball Recap: Sturgis Takes a Loss

Sturgis was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Otsego Bulldogs. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bulldogs this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 two weeks ago.

Sturgis' loss dropped their record down to 7-22-3. As for Otsego, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 23-11-5 record this season.

Sturgis will challenge Quincy at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Otsego has already played their next matchup (against Kenowa Hills), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
