Soccer Game Preview: South Plantation vs. South Broward

The South Plantation Paladins will take on the South Broward Bulldogs at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. South Plantation's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for five straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

South Plantation lost 5-1 to Coral Springs Charter last Tuesday. While losing is never fun, the Paladins can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Florida soccer rankings (they are ranked 273rd, while the Panthers are ranked 62nd).

Meanwhile, after soaring to eight goals the game before, South Broward was a bit more limited in their matchup on Thursday. They fell 3-1 to Somerset Academy.

South Broward's goal came courtesy of Nyla Louis, who's now up to nine this season.

South Plantation now has a losing record at 7-8-2. As for South Broward, their loss dropped their record down to 10-3-1.

South Plantation beat South Broward 2-0 in their previous meeting back in December of 2022. Will South Plantation repeat their success, or does South Broward have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
