Soccer Recap: Hillcrest Finds Home Pitch Redemption Against Easley

There's no place like home for Hillcrest, who bounced back after a loss on the road two weeks ago. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 1-0 victory over the Easley Green Wave on Tuesday. Natalie Perry had the honor of scoring the game-winner for Hillcrest.

Hillcrest's win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-2. The victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up zero goals over those four contests. As for Easley, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-3.

Coming up, Hillcrest is taking a road trip to challenge Woodruff at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. Hillcrest will be up against Woodruff's rather soft defense (which has allowed 3.33 goals per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Easley, they will be playing at home against T.L. Hanna at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
