Southern Alamance came into Saturday's matchup looking for another win against Jordan, but Evelyn Greene wouldn't allow it. The Falcons had just enough and edged out the Patriots 3-2 with plenty of help from Greene, who had 28 digs and four assists. Greene is crushing it when it comes to digs: she's had at least 13 every time she's taken the court this season.

Jordan wouldn't go down easily and took Southern Alamance into a fifth set where they got it done with a nine-point win. The final score came out to 16-25, 25-19, 25-19, 26-28, 15-6.

Jordan's win bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Southern Alamance, they are on a four-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Jordan didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 victory against Southwestern Randolph on the 16th. As for Southern Alamance, they have also already played their next game, a 3-0 loss against Cedar Ridge on the 19th.
