Basketball Recap: Moreno Valley Vikings vs. Orange Vista Coyotes
Moreno Valley lost against Orange Vista back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Moreno Valley Vikings lost to the Orange Vista Coyotes on the road by a 61-42 margin. Despite the loss, Moreno Valley still got an impressive performance from Jamall Thompson, who posted 20 points. That's the most points Thompson has posted since back in November of 2024.

Washington has been hot for a while, having posted two or more steals the last nine times he's played. Eric Wooten was another key player, dropping a double-double on ten points and 13 rebounds.
Moreno Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 13-7. As for Orange Vista, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 12-6 record this season.
Moreno Valley has already played their next contest, a 56-20 win against Heritage on the 18th. As for Orange Vista, they will challenge Liberty at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams are coming into the game red-hot, with Orange Vista sitting on six straight victories and Liberty on five.
