Mountain View wins going away against Hillsboro

Recap: Mountain View Cougars vs. Hillsboro Spartans
Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only the Mountain View Cougars walked away with it. They were the clear victor by a 41-20 margin over Hillsboro. Mountain View's victory was nothing new given the team hasn't lost yet this season.
Mountain View found their leader in underclassman Angel Valenzuela, who rushed for 192 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 7.7 yards per carry. Connor Crum also helped with two touchdowns in total.
Mountain View has yet to lose a game at home this season, leaving them with a 11-0 record. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 43.2 points per game. As for Hillsboro, their defeat ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 8-3.
Mountain View will face off against Silverton at TBD on Friday. Silverton is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune. Hillsboro does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
