Baseball Recap: Kuna Kavemen vs. Boise Brave
For whatever reason, it's the away team that's had the advantage when Kuna and Boise meet (four straight games heading into this one) and that held true again on Tuesday. The Kavemen walked away with a 9-5 victory over the Brave. This was payback for the Kavemen, who suffered a 10-1 loss the last time these two teams met.
Kaleb Olsen looked comfortable as he pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. He has been consistent : he hasn't given up more than two walks in six consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Kuna got a big performance out of Tyler Rasmussen, who scored a run and stole three bases while going 1-for-3. Those three stolen bases gave Rasmussen a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Zane Hoagland, who scored three runs and stole two bases.
Kuna's record now sits at 9-7. As for Boise, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-7.
We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Kuna is set to square off against their familiar foe Borah at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Boise will take on rival Meridian at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
