Soccer Game Preview: Dakota Ridge vs. Pomona + How To Watch

The Dakota Ridge Eagles will head out to take on the Pomona Panthers at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Dakota Ridge is headed into Thursday's matchup looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their fourth straight matches on Thursday. They came up short against Wheat Ridge, falling 5-0. While losing is never fun, Dakota Ridge can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Colorado soccer rankings (they are ranked 173rd, while Wheat Ridge are ranked 37th).

Meanwhile, Pomona managed to keep up with Green Mountain until halftime on Monday, but things quickly went downhill from there. The Panthers lost 5-1 to the Rams.

Dakota Ridge's defeat dropped their record down to 2-10. As for Pomona, their loss dropped their record down to 0-13.

Dakota Ridge was able to grind out a solid victory over Pomona in their previous meeting back in October of 2024, winning 2-0. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Eagles since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
