Football Recap: Fremont Comes Up Short

Fremont fell victim to Los Altos and their airtight defense on Thursday. They took a 9-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Eagles. The Firebirds were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Eagles apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in October of 2024.

Kevin Kowal threw for 30 yards. On the ground, William Devine rushed for 63 yards.

This is the second loss in a row for Fremont and nudges their season record down to 1-7. As for Los Altos, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 3-5.

Fremont didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 25-6 victory against Santa Clara on the 31st. As for Los Altos, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next matchup, a 42-21 loss against South San Francisco on the 31st.
