League recap: Parowan rolls against North Sevier

Parowan took down North Sevier 35-0 last week, the largest margin of any game. Caleb Murphy threw for 79 yards in the win.

Grand County led 2A - South in scoring this week by notching 42 points on Enterprise. Koi Cook threw for 133 yards, ran for 172 yards and caught 1 pass for 58 yards during the win.

Beaver's dynamic duo of Payson Fails and Jesse McMullin proved tough for San Juan to stop, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. Fails threw for 72 yards and 2 touchdowns and McMullin had 72 yards receiving.

Cook was a passing and rushing force as the Red Devils topped the Wolves. Cook's key target this week was Tanner White, who caught 2 passes for 64 yards.

Jake Topham was a key player and the best on defense this week as the Rams beat the Wolves. He.

The leading receiver in the league this season is Michael Roberts. The Beaver star has 16 catches for 377 yards.

Enterprise's Kelton Hunt needs only 80 yards against the Broncos next week to surpass 1,000 rushing yards for the season. In 136 carries Hunt has put up 920 yards this year.

Next week's game between South Sevier and Parowan will feature an aerial matchup as Trevor Jones tests his arm against Justice Walker's defensive ability. So far this year the Rams' Jones has 776 yards and 7 touchdowns to his credit, while Walker has notched 4 interceptions for Brigham Nielsen's team.

An important game coming up in the league this week will be when Malin Williams' team takes on San Juan. The Wolves are in third place, while Monty Lee's team is in fourth place.
