Teays Valley Christian took care of business in their home opener (and then some) on Thursday. Everything went their way against the Hannan Wildcats as the Teays Valley Christian Lions made off with a 9-2 win. The Lions haven't had any issues with the Wildcats recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive victory against them.

Austin Jarrett made a splash while hitting and pitching. He pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Jarrett was also big at the plate, scoring a run while going 2-for-3.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Brody Bradley, who scored two runs and stole Three bases. while getting on base in all three of his plate appearances. Another player making a difference was Anderson Brookes, who scored a run and stole Two bases. while going 1-for-4.

Teays Valley Christian will take on Tri-State HomeSchool at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Hannan, they will challenge Sherman at 5:30 p.m. on March 21st.
