The team relied heavily on Cutler Schmidt, who scored a run and stole two bases while getting on base in two of his four plate appearances. The team also got some help courtesy of Dominic Richlin, who scored two runs while going 1-for-3.
Meanwhile, Homestead was able to grind out a solid win over Cedarburg on Monday, taking the game 9-4.
West Bend's victory was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 6-0. Those good results were due in large part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.2 runs per game. As for Homestead, they now have a winning record of 2-1.
