Andrew Mora leads Lemoore to victory over Tulare Union

Even though the Tulare Union The Tribe scored an imposing 61 points on Friday, the Lemoore Tigers still came out on top. Lemoore sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 64-61 victory over Tulare Union. Given Lemoore's advantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 285th, while Tulare Union is ranked 672nd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Andrew Mora continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, dropping a double-double on 24 points and 11 rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points he has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Kaden Lopes, who scored 12 points along with five rebounds.

Lemoore is on a roll lately: they've won 15 of their last 18 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 17-8 record this season. As for Tulare Union, their loss dropped their record down to 12-11.

Lemoore will head out on the road to challenge Mission Oak at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Tulare Union, they will be playing at home against Hanford at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
