Volleyball Recap: Hilliard Darby Comes Up Short

Hilliard Darby lost against Dublin Jerome on April 1st, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Panthers fell just short of the Celtics by a score of 3-2. The Panthers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

In an exciting match in which no team claimed back-to-back wins, Hilliard Darby sadly wound up on the wrong side. The final score came out to 25-18, 16-25, 25-15, 20-25, 15-9.

Hilliard Darby's loss dropped their record down to 7-9. As for Dublin Jerome, the win got them back to even at 7-7.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Hilliard Darby will take on Beavercreek at 6:45 p.m. on Friday. The Beavers will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something the Panthers surely won't give up without a fight. As for Dublin Jerome, they will square off against Olentangy Berlin at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
