Baseball Game Preview: Liberty Chargers vs. Hardee Wildcats

The Liberty Chargers will face off against the Hardee Wildcats at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Liberty played against Oak Ridge on Thursday and won via forfeit.

Having struggled with five losses in a row, Hardee turned things around against Sebring on Friday. They had just enough and edged out the Blue Streaks 1-0.

Hardee's victory was truly a team effort as five different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Cody Rieder, who went 2-for-5 with one triple and one run. That's the most hits Rieder has posted since back in February.

Liberty's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-10. As for Hardee, their victory bumped their record up to 9-13.
