Gryder came up big in Starmount's 18-1 win
While Thursday's victory was certainly a team effort, someone pulling more than their own weight was underclassman Rena Gryder. She was dynamite on Thursday, tossing two innings while giving up no earned run off one hit (she also only allowed one walk).
Gryder and Starmount will be playing at home against North Stokes at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Starmount has been dominating at home and they'll enter the matchup having won three straight home games.
