Basketball Recap: Overlea Takes a Loss

If Overlea was riding high fresh off their 64-32 takedown of Carver A&T on Wednesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Falcons came up short against the Edmondson-Westside Red Storm on Saturday, falling 68-48.

Overlea now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Edmondson-Westside, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 3-0.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Overlea will be home for the holidays to greet McDonough at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Edmondson-Westside, they will welcome Indian Creek at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
