Baseball Game Preview: North Sevier Wolves vs. San Juan Broncos

North Sevier is 1-9 against San Juan since April of 2016 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Wednesday. North Sevier will be playing in front of their home fans against San Juan at 2:00 p.m. North Sevier has given up an average of 8.6 runs per game this season, but Wednesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

North Sevier lost 17-1 to Duchesne on Friday. The Wolves have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

North Sevier saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Bron Butler, who scored a run while going 1-for-2.

Meanwhile, it was close, but last Saturday San Juan sidestepped American Leadership Academy for an 8-7 victory.

Branten Bethea was a standout: he went 1-for-3 with one triple, one stolen base, and one run. He is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last three games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Baylor Nielson, who scored a run while going 1-for-2.

North Sevier's loss dropped their record down to 4-6. As for San Juan, their win bumped their record up to 5-3.
