Plant waltzed into their game on Thursday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They breezed by the Wharton Wildcats to the tune of 67-21. The Panthers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four matchups by 46 points or more this season.

Jc Mirasola continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, throwing for 327 yards and eight touchdowns. Plant is 4-1 when Mirasola posts 300 or more passing yards, but 2-3 otherwise. The team also got some help courtesy of Ben Mackinnon, who picked up 132 receiving yards and three touchdowns.

Plant didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. Alex Tate picked up that interception and then proceeded to rub salt in the wound by taking it back the other way for a touchdown.

Although Wharton took the loss, they still got scores from Trevon Garden, Woo Greene, and Duke Corley.

Plant pushed their record up to 6-4 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 59.7 points per game. As for Wharton, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-8.

Plant will take on Bartow at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Plant's defense has only allowed 14.3 points per game this season, so Bartow's offense will have their work cut out for them. Wharton does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
