Basketball Recap: Tennyson Comes Up Short

Tennyson was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They had to suffer through a 77-34 loss at the hands of the Aliso Niguel Wolverines. The game marked the Lancers' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Despite the loss, Tennyson still got an impressive performance from Raimone Dempsey, who went 6-for-15 on his way to 13 points. Another player making a difference was James Walker, who posted six points and ten boards.

Tennyson's defeat dropped their record down to 3-5. As for Aliso Niguel, their victory bumped their record up to 11-7.

Looking ahead, Tennyson will hit the road for the first time this season to face off against Mt. Diablo at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Lancers' defense better be ready for this one: the Red Devils have averaged an impressive 51.2 points per game this season. As for Aliso Niguel, they won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Camarillo at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
