The Middle Park Panthers will be playing at home against the Vail Mountain Gore Rangers at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Middle Park will be looking to keep their 11-game home win streak (dating back to last season) alive.
Middle Park can now show off four landslide victories after their most recent game on Thursday. They claimed a resounding 64-32 victory over Platte Canyon at home. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory Middle Park has posted yet this season.
Joey Gagnon continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, dropping a double-double on 29 points and 11 rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points he has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Jacob Trail, who scored eight points along with three steals.
Meanwhile, Vail Mountain earned a 42-34 win over Caprock Academy on Thursday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Vail Mountain.
Middle Park has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight games, which provided a massive bump to their 7-4 record this season. As for Vail Mountain, their victory bumped their record up to 4-2.
Middle Park came out on top in a nail-biter against Vail Mountain in their previous matchup back in January of 2023, sneaking past 55-52. Does Middle Park have another victory up their sleeve, or will Vail Mountain turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
