Englewood gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Tuesday. Their defense stepped up to hand the Westside Wolverines a 2-0 shutout. The Rams have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Wolverines, too.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Englewood will take on Fletcher at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Westside, they will look to take advantage of their home-pitch for the first time this season as they take on Riverside at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
