St. Anne-Pacelli meant business on Saturday, getting buckets from all over the court against a Patriots squad that has allowed just 28.6 points per contest. The St. Anne-Pacelli Vikings simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Strong Rock Christian Patriots 62-22. The Vikings have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 11 matches by 24 points or more this season.

St. Anne-Pacelli was led to victory by Grace Smith and Mckayla Hosley. Smith posted 12 points and three steals, while Hosley went 6-for-11 on her way to 13 points. Smith has been hot for a while, having posted two or more steals the last 12 times she's played. Tamiyah Ransom was another key player, putting up six points along with five boards and three steals.

St. Anne-Pacelli was working as a unit and finished the game with 14 assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Strong Rock Christian only racked up six assists.

Despite the loss, Strong Rock Christian saw an underclassman step up: freshman Kasey Keeney went 6-for-15 to rack up 17 points.

The victory was the third in a row for St. Anne-Pacelli, bringing their record for this year to 17-4. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 24.7 points over those games. As for Strong Rock Christian, their defeat dropped their record down to 19-6.

Coincidentally, St. Anne-Pacelli and Strong Rock Christian will both be playing Calvary Christian the next time they take the court. Strong Rock Christian will host Calvary Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while St. Anne-Pacelli will head out to face them at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday.
