Basketball Game Preview: Rockcastle County Rockets vs. Pulaski County Maroons

The Rockcastle County Rockets will host the Pulaski County Maroons at 7:30 p.m. Keep an eye on the score for this one: both posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.

Rockcastle County is coming into the game on the come-up as their season has now been buoyed by two straight victories. They took their contest on Tuesday with ease, bagging a 60-30 win over Casey County.

Meanwhile, Pulaski County was able to grind out a solid victory over Southwestern on Tuesday, taking the game 66-53.

Rockcastle County pushed their record up to 7-14 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 64.0 points per game. As for Pulaski County, their victory bumped their record up to 9-6.

Rockcastle County couldn't quite finish off Pulaski County in their previous matchup back in February of 2024 and fell 59-57. Can Rockcastle County avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
