Cactus Shadows won the last time they faced Bradshaw Mountain, and Gabby Procopio did her part to make sure it happened again. The Falcons came out on top against the Bears by a score of 3-1 on Thursday with plenty of help from Procopio, who had 21 digs and four aces. She is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 21 or more in each of the last four games she's played dating back to last season.

Cactus Shadows had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 23-25, 25-16, 25-21, 25-21.

Cactus Shadows has started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

After both having extra time off, Cactus Shadows and Thunderbird will shake off the rust and duke it out at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Bradshaw Mountain, they will welcome Mohave at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. This will be the Bears' first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
