Soccer Recap: Morris Takes a Loss

Morris was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 12th straight loss. They came up short against the Sycamore Spartans, falling 8-1. The contest was up for grabs at halftime, but sadly Morris struggled afterwards.

Their goal came courtesy of Xander Braun, who's now up to seven this season.

Morris' defeat dropped their record down to 1-19. As for Sycamore, the victory was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record up to 16-7.

Coming up, Morris will be playing in front of their home fans against Streator/Woodland at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Sycamore, they will head out on the road to take on St. Charles East at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
