Soccer Game Preview: Fort Madison vs. Washington

Fort Madison has gone 9-0-1 against Washington recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Bloodhounds will host the Demons at 5:00 p.m. Fort Madison's defense has only allowed 0.3 goals per game this season, so Washington's offense will have their work cut out for them.

Fort Madison had been on a four-game streak of scoring at least four goals, but Burlington put an end to it on Monday. The Bloodhounds lost 3-0 to the Grayhounds. Fort Madison haven't had much luck with Burlington recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Washington, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Thursday. They put the hurt on Fairfield with a sharp 4-1 win on Monday. Considering Washington have won four games by more than two goals this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

Having lost for the first time this season, Fort Madison fell to 11-1-1. As for Washington, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-4 record this season.
