San Ramon Valley will be up against a hot Salesian College Preparatory squad: the team just extended their winning streak to six. Salesian College Preparatory took their match last Saturday with ease, bagging a 71-38 win over Saint Mary's. Given the Pride's advantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 27th, while the Panthers are ranked 185th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, it can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but San Ramon Valley had no problem doing just that on Thursday. They claimed a resounding 77-49 victory over the Grizzlies. The win continues a trend for the Wolves in their matchups with the Grizzlies: they've now won four in a row.

San Ramon Valley pushed their record up to 20-8 with the victory, which was their ninth straight at home. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 76.2 points over those games. As for Salesian College Preparatory, their win bumped their record up to 26-2.

Salesian College Preparatory skirted past San Ramon Valley 70-68 in their previous meeting back in December of 2024. Will Salesian College Preparatory repeat their success, or does San Ramon Valley have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
