Basketball Recap: Tolman Tigers vs. Burrillville Broncos
Make it seven blowout wins for the Tolman Tigers this season. They blew past Burrillville, posting a 65-34 win at home. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Tolman also won the last time the pair played back in January of 2023.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Tolman to victory, but perhaps none more so than Daniel Saulsby, who scored 12 points along with seven rebounds and two steals. Isiah Gois was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 12 points and ten rebounds.
Despite the loss, Burrillville still got an impressive performance from Nolan Serafin, who almost dropped a double-double on nine points and 14 rebounds. Serafin is crushing the rebound category: he's posted at least ten every time he's taken the court this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Logan Gelinas, who scored nine points along with two steals.
Tolman's victory bumped their record up to 14-4. As for Burrillville, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 13-5.
Tolman will head out on the road to square off against the Patriots at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Burrillville, they will be playing at home against the Panthers at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
