Soccer Recap: Pine Lake Prep Comes Up Short

There was early excitement for Pine Lake Prep after they claimed the first goal on Wednesday, however, they wouldn't score again. They fell just short of the Christ the King Crusaders by a score of 2-1. Pine Lake Prep were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Christ the King apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in October of 2024.

Pine Lake Prep's goal came courtesy of Cole Sheets, who's now up to five this season.

This is the second loss in a row for Pine Lake Prep and nudges their season record down to 3-2. As for Christ the King, their victory was their first in the conference, bumping their conference record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 2-4.
