Basketball Recap: Van Comes Up Short

Van was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They came up short against the Lindale Eagles, falling 51-25. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Vandals this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 55-9 back in January.

Van's loss dropped their record down to 11-21. As for Lindale, with the victory, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 16-15.

Van does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Lindale, they are taking a road trip to face off against Chapel Hill at 7:15 p.m. on Monday. Lindale has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
