Volleyball Recap: Dynamic Duo of Rebecca Love and Tiffany Garcia Lead Hancock to Victory

There's no place like home for Hancock, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Holy Trinity Tigers on Thursday.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Hancock took both sets by at least 13 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-12, 25-10.

Leading Hancock to victory were Tiffany Garcia and Rebecca Love. Garcia had eight aces and seven assists, while Love had six aces.

They weren't the only good server: Hancock was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 22 aces. That's the most aces they've posted since the start of last season.

The win got Hancock back to even at 1-1. As for Holy Trinity, their loss dropped their record down to 0-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Hancock will host Whitney Young at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Holy Trinity, they will take on Golder at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
