 Lakeland can now show off five landslide victories after their most recent  game  on Thursday. They were the clear victor by  a  14-1 margin over the Sandpoint Bulldogs. The  victory was a breath of fresh air for Lakeland as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.
  Jace Taylor made a splash no matter where he played. He  struck out seven batters over  five innings while giving up just one earned run off   two  hits (and only one walk). Taylor was also big at the plate,  going 2-for-2 with four  RBI, a  stolen base,  and a  run.
 In other batting news,  Cash Lund was  incredible,  scoring three  runs and  stealing two bases while  getting on base  in all three of his plate appearances. Another player making a difference was  Roan Reilly, who  scored three  runs and  stole a base while going 1-for-2.
 Lakeland's win  ended  a  three-game drought at home  and  bumped them up to 7-9. As for Sandpoint, they now  have a losing record at 6-7.
 Coincidentally,  the two teams will both be playing Lewiston the next time they take the field. Sandpoint will  host Lewiston at 12:00  p.m.  on Saturday, while Lakeland will  host them  at 2:00  p.m.  on Tuesday.
