Grandview Heights won the last time they faced Whitehall-Yearling and things went their way on Friday too. The Bobcats were the clear victors by a 12-1 margin over the Rams. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Bobcats.

Ejheni Mdivanian made a big impact no matter where she played. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run while striking out 11 over five innings pitched. Mdivanian was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with three RBI and one double.

Mdivanian wasn't the only one making solid contact as three players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was Chloe Castle, who scored a run and stole a base while getting on base in three of her four plate appearances. Callie Rutter was another, scoring three runs and stealing a base.

Grandview Heights now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Whitehall-Yearling, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-5 record this season.

Grandview Heights will look to defend their home field on Monday against Bexley at 5:15 p.m. The Lions have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 11.82 runs per game on average), something the Bobcats will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Whitehall-Yearling, they will challenge Worthington Christian at 5:15 p.m. on Monday.
