Recap: Grapevine Mustangs vs. Midlothian Panthers
The Grapevine Mustangs were the 74-73 winner over the Midlothian Panthers when they last played one another back in February, but their luck changed this time around. Grapevine was the victim of a tough 62-41 loss at the hands of Midlothian on Friday. Grapevine has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Several Mustangs players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Greyson Prince, who scored 13 points along with 5 rebounds. Blue Schaper was another key contributor, scoring 11 points.
Grapevine has been struggling recently, as they've lost three of their last four matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-8 record this season. As for Midlothian, they now have a winning record of 6-5.
Grapevine will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Pinkston at 7:30 p.m. Pinkston is coming into the matchup on a three-game losing streak. Midlothian will be staying on the road on Tuesday to face off against Mansfield Timberview at 7:00 p.m. on December 5th. The timing is sure in Mansfield Timberview's favor as the squad sits on five straight wins at home while Midlothian has been banged up by three consecutive losses on the road.
