Volleyball Recap: Campion Academy's Win Ends Seven-Game Losing Streak at Home

There's no place like home for Campion Academy, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Thursday. They skirted past the Mount Pisgah Academy Mountaineers 2-1. This was a revenge game for the Cougars: when they faced off against the Mountaineers on Thursday, they had to take a 2-0 defeat.

Campion Academy was actually outscored in aggregate across those three sets (59-51), but they still managed to win. The match finished with set scores of 26-24, 10-25, 15-10.

Campion Academy's victory ended a seven-match drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 2-9. As for Mount Pisgah Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 7-7.

Campion Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Mount Pisgah Academy, they will take on Sandia View Academy at 3:00 p.m. on Friday.
