Western Albemarle entered their tilt with Monticello on Friday with nine consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with ten. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Monticello Mustangs 59-23. The Warriors have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 12 matches by 21 points or more this season.

Western Albemarle's victory was their ninth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 16-4. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 56.6 points over those games. As for Monticello, they have been struggling recently as they've lost 11 of their last 12 contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-17 record this season.
