Basketball Recap: Enterprise's Win on Thursday Extends Winning Streak to Four

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Enterprise). They enjoyed a cozy 67-49 win over the Sierra Vista Mountain Lions on Thursday. The Wolves' victory was nothing new given the team hasn't lost yet this season.

Enterprise was led to victory by Hadlee Holt and Jaycee Barlow. Holt dropped a double-double with 24 points and 19 boards, while Barlow dropped a double-double with 24 points and 20 rebounds. Those 20 boards gave Barlow a new career-high. Nancy Platt also deserves some recognition as she grabbed her first steal of the season.

Enterprise smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 26 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least 13 offensive rebounds every time they've taken the court this season.

When it comes to explaining why Sierra Vista lost, don't look at Donnayja Gibson. Despite the final result, she posted 19 points along with five rebounds and four steals. Gibson's evening made it four games in a row in which she has scored at least 19 points. Avery Silvas was another key player, putting up three points in addition to six boards and four steals.

Enterprise's win bumped their record up to 4-0. As for Sierra Vista, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 2-1.

Enterprise has already played their next game, a 73-38 victory against Rancho on the 5th. As for Sierra Vista, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 62-32 win against Monument Valley on the 5th.
